Gabriel Varela, 41, of Yuma died Jan. 27, 2007, at Yuma Regional Medical Center. He was born Dec. 10, 1965, in Fresno, Calif., and did maintenance. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Johnson Mortuary Chapel. Johnson Mortuary is handling arrangements and cremation. Octavio S. Meza III Octavio S. Meza III, 27, of Yuma died Feb. 4, 2007, at Yuma Regional Medical Center. He was born July 27, 1979, in Yuma, and was a supply purchasing and distribution employee at YRMC. A wake will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at Johnson Mortuary Chapel, with rosary from 7 to 8 p.m. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, burial will follow at Desert Lawn. He was born Sept. 16, 1950, in Greenville, Miss., and was the owner of a gift shop. No services are planned. Interment will be at a later date at Inglewood Cemetery in Inglewood, Calif. She was born Sept. 22, 1929, in Daly City, Calif., and was a homemaker. Memorial services will be at a later date in California. She was born Jan. 1, 1930, in Homer, Mich., and was a homemaker. Memorial services, to be held at the Moose Lodge in Yuma, will be announced at a later date. Funeral services will be in Marshall, Mich., with burial at Oak Ridge Cemetery in that city. Sunset Vista Funeral Home is handling local arrangements. Dona S. Harney Dona S. Harney, 62, died Feb. 6, 2007, at her home in Yuma. She was born Nov. 6, 1944, in South Bend, Ind., and was a certified nurse's aide. No services are planned. He was born May 15, 1930, in Mexico, and was a custodian. Funeral services will be in San Luis Rio Colorado, Son. Burial will be at Municipal Cemetery No. 2 in that city.
