He was born July 27, 1935, in Ponca City, Okla., and was a retired service technician. Memorial services were held Feb. 4 at Desert Grace Nazarene Church. Funeral services will be in Nampa, Idaho, at Alsip Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in that city. Richard C. Morris Richard C. Morris, 71, of Yuma died Feb. 2, 2007, at La Mesa Rehabilitation & Care Center. He was born Jan. 5, 1936, in Arizona, and was retired from Yuma Proving Ground housing authority. Memorial services will take place at the time cremated remains are buried at Sunset Vista Cemetery. Arrangements are pending at Sunset Vista Funeral Home. Carrie McGowan Carrie McGowan, 74, of Yuma died Feb. 4, 2007, in Yuma. She was born Oct. 31, 1932, in Hyden, Ky., and was a homemaker. Graveside services will be at a later date in Kentucky. She was born Dec. 16, 1941, in Mexicali and was a retired loan officer. A viewing will be from 5 to 10 p.m. today at Desert Valley Mortuary Chapel, with rosary at 7 p.m. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
