Donna Mae Jones
Donna Mae Jones, 74, of Ottawa, Kansas passed away Sunday, February 4, 2007 at her home in Overland Park, Kansas. She was born December 4, 1932 in Kansas City, Missouri the daughter of Harvey and Frances (Green) Nordsieck. She graduated from West Port High School in 1949.
She worked at Woolworth's in Kansas City, as a Secretary for Farmland Industries in Kansas City, as a waitress at the Grandviewer in Grandview, Missouri, Rodeway Inn at Overland Park, Kansas and she owned and operated Mom's Chuck Wagon in Raymore, Missouri.
On December 23, 1951, she married John Luff, they later divorced. On February 14, 1982 she was united in marriage to Robert Henry Jones, Sr. they shared over twenty-one years of marriage before his death on January 16, 2004.
She was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Ottawa and Christ Lutheran Church in Yuma. She was an honorary member of the L.W.M.L. and the Alter Guild. She enjoyed crocheting, needle point and wintering in Yuma.
She is survived by two daughters, Cindy Osiier of Republic, Missouri and Carol Hensley, of Overland Park, Kansas; two step-children, Robert H. Jones Jr., of Ottawa, Kansas and Elizabeth M. Jones, of Tucson, Arizona; a half-sister, Lin Pennington, of Olathe, Kansas; eleven grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Lisa Ann Luff on December 6, 1957; and a son, Donald E. Luff on May 6, 2006.
Funeral services will be at Faith Lutheran Church, Ottawa, Kansas on Saturday, February 10, 2007 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Hope Cemetery in Ottawa, Kansas. The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Friday, February 9, 2007 at Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home.

Gabriel Phillip-Levi Osuna
Gabriel Phillip-Levi Osuna, 18, entered into eternal life on Thursday, February 1, 2007. Gabriel was born on October 12, 1988 in Yuma.
Gabriel was loved by his family and friends. He was a senior at Cibola High School. He enjoyed playing soccer for AYSO and YYSA and played soccer for Cibola High School. He was a USSF certified referee for five years. As an amateur boxer in 2002, he won first place at the Silver Gloves Arizona State Championship and second place at the National Blue and Gold California State Championship. In 2003, he won second place at the National Silver Gloves Arizona State Championship. In 2005, he won second place at the Golden Gloves Arizona State Championship.
Gabriel is survived by his mother, Ana Sonia Osuna; father, Christopher Osuna; brother, Matthew Osuna; maternal grandparents, Albert "Winser" (Elisa) Mejia; paternal grandparents, Joe (Stella) Osuna all of Yuma; uncles and aunts, Ralph (Alma) Evans, Chris (Nora) Rico of Yuma, Albert (Alicia) Mejia of Chandler, Arizona, Joe (June) of Flagstaff, Arizona, Michael (Debbie) Osuna of Winslow, Arizona and Lorraine Osuna of Yuma.
Gabriel was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Eufemia (Albert) Mejia, Augustina Villegas, Martin (Senaida) Gutierrez and Ralph (Pasqualita) Ochoa.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Osuna, Ralph Evans, Jr., Cesar Chavez, Victor Arriola, Jr., Rafael Gutierrez, Oscar Valenzuela, Steven Amaya and Jose Gonzalez.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ralph Evans, Albert Mejia III, Chris Rico, Joe Osuna, Jr., Michael Osuna and Jose Sanchez.
A wake will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday, February 11, 2007 at Johnson Mortuary. The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. The mass will be at 10 a.m., Monday, February 12, 2007 at Immaculate Conception Church. The burial will follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
Gabriel was a loving son, brother and grandson. He had a big heart and a gentle soul. Gabriel's indomitable spirit will be with us forever.
