Arizona Western College's Lamont Long signed to play for the University of Nevada-Las Vegas Wednesday.

Long was a defenseive back, but made his mark as a kick and punt returner. In his second season, he ranked third in the ACCAC in both categroies, averaging 11.4 yards per punt return and 26.2 yards per kick return.

Highlights of the LoMitas, California's second year at AWC included an 84 yard return against Scottsdale on September 30. Long also recorded a a 45 yard punt return for a touchdown against Pima.
